Posting a carousel

For a panorama across an Instagram carousel, split one wide image into 1 × 2 or 1 × 3 and upload the pieces left to right. The app shows them as separate slides, and swiping rebuilds the original picture.

Nothing is scaled or re-encoded beyond the cut itself, so the tiles keep the quality of the original. Where the size does not divide evenly, the last row and column take the extra pixels rather than losing them.

How do I make an Instagram carousel from one photo?
Split the picture into 1 x 2 or 1 x 3, then upload the tiles in order, left to right. Each becomes a slide, and swiping rebuilds the original image.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Each tile is cut straight out of the original, so the pixels you get are the pixels you had.
What sizes can I split into?
Anything up to 10 rows by 10 columns, which is 100 pieces. The presets cover the common carousel and grid shapes.
